You can expect an eclectic style at Brookville Road; the owner previously worked as an art dealer and so the property is adorned with fascinating paintings, sculptures and furniture making an interesting change from boring hotel rooms!

The house is less than 10 minutes walk from Fulham Broadway - tube station (District line) and a good range of restaurants, bars, pubs, cafes and shops. There are also excellent bus links to the central attractions.

The property sleeps 4 in two double rooms with 2 bathrooms. Wireless internet access is provided.

On entering the house you will first encounter the generous sized, open-plan drawing room (25ft6 x 14ft8, 7.8m x 4.5m) with a colourful array of artwork and bookshelves stacked with leather-bound books as well as an eclectic mix of furniture and other quirky pieces giving it plenty of character.

There is a large chaise-longue topped with an assortment of colourful cushions as well as a comfortable chair next to the traditional English fireplace and flat-screen TV which has Freeview digital channels – there is also a DVD player and iPod dock so you can listen to your favourite music whilst you are away from home.

At the far end of the room is the dining area, next to a large mirrored wall which gives the illusion of space and light – here you will find a dining table with eight faux snakeskin chairs – another feature that makes the room stand out from the norm.

The kitchen (17ft7 x 8ft8, 5.4m x 2.7m) is the next room along, providing plenty of space to prepare your meals. Here you will find everything you need: dishwasher, washing machine, oven, electric hob microwave and fridge-freezer – there is also a comfy chair at the end of the room which overlooks the small garden.

The garden is accessible via the set of French doors and boasts an array of potted plants and other greenery as well as a table with four chairs.

Upstairs, on the first floor, you will find the first double bedroom (8ft8 x 8ft7, 2.7m x 2.6m), which is clean and modern in style with white walls and a bookshelf stocked with various books. There is a fitted wardrobe and a double (6ft3 x 4ft6) bed. On this floor is a bathroom with a bath with over-shower, basin and loo

Also on this floor is a study with desk, chair and computer (normally available for guests' use), and an ironing/storage room – a good place to store your luggage.

The master bedroom (18ft x 15ft7, 5.5m x 4.8m) is on the top floor. This is a generous-sized room with beautiful antique chairs and furniture. These unique touches give this room a luxury feel – from the powder blue walls to the Oriental art and the delicately carved wardrobe. The open-plan space has a flat-screen TV, king size bed (6ft6 x 5ft) and an en-suite bathroom which has been decorated in a modern 'natural' style with a pebble topped bath with over-shower, bidet, basin and loo. The door from the bathroom leads out onto a small roof terrace which is perfect for the summer months – adults only please, this isn't suitable for children!

Fulham Broadway is less than a 10 minute walk and here you will find a cinema, deli, restaurants, coffee shops, several supermarkets (including Sainsburys and Marks & Spencer) and a whole host of independent and high-street shops. For Chelsea supporters, Chelsea Football Club is just 5 minutes walking distance from the underground station.

A few stops on the underground will take you to South Kensington which is home to the Science Museum, Natural History Museum, the V&A and the Royal Albert Hall. Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens as well as High Street Kensington are all within a 10/15 min stroll from the station.

This is a No Smoking property.
