This modern 3rd floor apartment (there is a good lift) is in a private, gated community with a fine large communal garden, actually it's more like a small park! The flat overlooks the wide open space behind the Earl's Court Exhibition Centre giving it a surprisingly nice view.

A mere 5/7 minute walk from Fulham Broadway tube station (District line) - there is a cut-through which you can't see on the map - this apartment makes a great base for a London stay. The immediate area boasts a plethora of restaurants, bars and shops. Parking is available for the small charge of £50 per week or part week.

The property sleeps 4 in one double room and one twin room, there are two bathrooms. Wireless internet is provided, but there is no phone.

The living/dining area (15ft x 10ft5, 4.6m x 3.2m) is a modern space with a soft cream carpet and walls. There are various images on the walls that add a points of focus and features that make the space comfortable, such a floral two-seater sofa and chair and lots of soft lighting – for entertainment you'll find a flat-screen TV with digital Freeview channels and a sound system. There is a dining area next to the open kitchen with a glass dining table and four chairs.

The room benefits from several windows which illuminate the room with natural light. There is a set of French doors that lead out onto a private balcony with a table and four chairs, overlooking the back of the Earl's Court Exhibition Centrethe balcony gets late morning and afternoon sunshine and is the ideal place for an end of day sundowner.

Despite its petite size (14ft1 x 6ft6, 4.3m x 2m), the kitchen has a spacious feel, owing to the serving hatch which offers a clear view of the living area and balcony. The room has a modern country feel with a combination of pale green cabinets, cork floor and wooden surfaces - there is also a small breakfast bar with two stools for an early morning cup of coffee or a quick bite to eat.

This room has everything you will need: dishwasher, washing machine, oven, electric hob, fridge-freezer, toaster and kettle.

The master bedroom (10ft4 x 9ft8, 3.2m x 3m) again shares a modern country feel with a design of soft florals and pale walls. There is plenty of space in the mirrored fitted wardrobes and the room even boasts its own private tiled balcony. The room has two 6ft3 x 3ft beds which have been zipped together (and can be unzipped to form two single beds on request) and a good-sized modern en-suite bathroom with bath with over-shower, bidet, basin and loo.

The second bedroom (10ft5 x 7ft8, 3.2 x 2.4m) has a clean, modern style and has two single 6ft3 x 3ft beds and fitted wardrobe space for your belongings. There is also a bedside table and lamp and a chair.

The second bathroom with cork flooring and tiled walls has a bath with over-shower, basin and loo.

Fulham Broadway is a 5/7 minutes walk and here you will find a cinema, deli, restaurants, coffee shops, several supermarkets (including Sainsburys and Marks & Spencer) and a whole host of independent and high-street shops.

For Chelsea supporters, Chelsea Football Club is just 5 minutes walking distance from the underground station.

A few stops on the underground will take you to South Kensington which is home to the Science Museum, Natural History Museum, the V&A and the Royal Albert Hall. Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens as well as High Street Kensington are all within a 10/15 min stroll from the station.
