This attractive flat combines style with comfort, creating a chic space which is light, airy and original. It also boasts an excellent location in Notting Hill, very close to the famous Portobello Market and full of excellent bars and restaurants. Your nearest tube is Ladbroke Grove (Circle and Hammersmith & City lines) some 5 minutes walk, though Notting Hill Gate (Central, District and Circle lines), 10 minutes away might provide better links.
The apartment is on the 3rd floor (no lift) and sleeps 2/3 people in one double room and a mezzanine sleeping area. There is one bathroom.
The mezzanine sleeping area is accessed by a fixed 10 ft (3m) ladder, seen in the picture on the right, so is not suitable for the old or infirm.

Guests will be impressed by the original layout as they enter the main living area. The large loft room (23ft9 x 17ft7, 7.2m x 5.3m) has been tastefully decorated with a contemporary edge and features a striking high ceiling that allow the light to completely spill into the space.
The main wall displays a vast collection of books and an eclectic selection of objects that add interest and colour to the room.
Both colourful and playful, the living area is also comfortable and functional with a handsome wooden dining table with two chairs and two long benches, a chaise, 2-seater sofa and a coal-effect fire.

|
Wireless internet access is available throughout and there is an iPod dock for guests to use.

The bedroom (12ft7 x 11ft5, 3.8m x 3.5m) is in a modern eclectic style, featuring fresh blue walls, rustic wooden floors with fluffy sheepskin rugs, fireplace, flat-screen TV with digital channels, stylish chair, fitted wardrobe and a pretty chandelier. It faces east and has wonderful uninterrupted views over the communal gardens with the added benefit of making the room very quiet (but for birdsong) and incredibly sunny.
Stairs from this room lead up into a further loft space used by the owner for storage.

The second sleeping area is located on a mezzanine level in the living area, accessed by a flower-adorned ladder (see limitations above). Overlooking the stylish room below, this area has a futon bed and a chair. Being some distance and separated from the main bedroom, this space provides the privacy of a second bedroom.
The compact kitchen is small but provides everything guests will need: fridge-freezer, oven with gas hob, kettle and dishwasher. With ceramic tiled walls, brass taps and rustic wooden work surfaces, the kitchen has a country-style feel. A washing machine and tumble dryer are stored in a hidden cupboard in the main living area.
The tiled bathroom, recently redecorated to the highest standard, has a bath with power over-shower, basin and loo.
