Our Properties

Most of our properties are either the homes of Londoners who are away for an extended period, or an under-used pied-à-terre.

All are hand picked and are places where we would be happy to stay ourselves! As well as a description and photos of the property we try to give you a feel for the area, its attractions and amenities.

Most are no more than 10 minutes from the tube - often less.

All properties come with their own "mini guide" to the area covering the neighbourhood shops, local transport, pubs, restaurants and cafés. They also have a folder with brief notes on appliances, heating & hot water, security systems etc.

All properties have a telephone which you can use as you wish. Some have a computer and internet access.

The prices quoted are per property per night - please remember we have a minimum stay of 5 nights unless stated otherwise, you can of course pay for the minimum number of nights but stay for fewer if you wish. Prices are payable in £s and include all taxes - the US$ rates shown are conversions at approximately £1 = $1.75 but please note this might not match the current conversion rate. In addition to the rent payable, for each let there is an additional charge of £75 ($130)- to cover all administrative costs and service elements. Our rates are based on stays of 3 weeks or less, reductions may be possible for longer stays (over 21 nights) in some properties. Some properties may be available at short notice.

If you book consecutive rentals in London and Paris the security deposit on the second rental is reduced by up to 50% - with a minimum total on the two properties of £500 (€750).

Warwick Square Mews (Ref: WSM) - sleeps 4

This is a real gem of a find - a charming little house tucked away in a quiet cobbled mews just behind Warwick Square. In the 1840s, when the grand houses of the square were built, the horses, carriages and grooms of their occupants were housed these mews properties. These times long past, the now converted mews houses are considered some of the most desirable pied-à-terres in London - not least because of their quiet situation and private parking.The accommodation is on two floors, it sleeps 4 people in two double bedrooms which share a bathroom. The property comes with parking for one car and has high-speed broadband internet access.

Abbotsbury House (Ref: ABH) - sleeps 2 or 4

WOW is what we said when we saw this stunning flat! On the 7th floor (good lift) of a quality 1960s portered block and recently modernised / refurbished, with fantastic views west and south over London, this is a stunner. Not only that - beautiful Holland Park is 5 minutes walk, and you are also just 5 minutes to Holland Park tube station (Central line). The flat accommodates 4 people in 2 double bedrooms, each with their own en-suite bathroom. There is wifi broadband internet access.

Old Swan Wharf (Ref: OSW) - sleeps 5

For many Americans visiting London the church right beside and overlooked by this modern apartment block - St. Mary's Battersea - is an interesting place to visit. Not only was it the church where the poet and artist William Blake was married, and from where Turner painted some of his marvellous views of sunsets over The Thames, but American War of Independence General Benedict Arnold, whose name is considered by some as synonym for "traitor", is buried here in the crypt. The flat sleeps 5 people in a double and a twin bedroom. A 5^th person can be accommodated on an excellent sofa-bed.

Brompton Square (Ref: BRO) - sleeps 2

Although a touch old fashioned, this property is a great little pied-à-terre in a wonderful location and good value for money. The front looks out over the well maintained private gardens of Brompton Square (to which as a temporary resident you will have access) and the rear overlooks the attractive gardens of Holy Trinity, Brompton. It's very quiet as Brompton Square has no through traffic yet just 5 minutes walk from Harrods. Your nearest tube is Knightsbridge (Piccadilly line - trains direct from Heathrow). The flat sleeps 2 people in one double bedroom.

Milner Street (Ref: MIL2) - sleeps 6

Milner Street is in one of the smartest parts of Chelsea, some would even call it Knightsbridge! Indeed Harrods and the Knightsbridge tube station (Piccadilly line) are the same distance as Sloane Square (the centre of the universe for the London upper-crust) and its tube (District and Circle lines); both just 5 minutes walk.

The accommodation is arranged over 5 floors and sleeps 6 people in 2 double bedrooms and a single with a pull-out trundle bed.

Foskett Road (Ref: FOS) - sleeps 6/8

Large houses to rent right in the centre of town are few and far between - if you can find them they cost a king's ransom. But a short tube or bus ride from the main tourist areas, with a little luck, you can discover properties in pleasant, quiet, residential areas that will take a larger group. Our recent find, a house in Foskett Road - Fulham, is one such discovery.

The house, arranged over 3 floors and sleeps 6/8 people in one double, one twin and two small doubles - both with 4ft6 beds. There are two bathrooms and a downstairs cloakroom/loo.

Prospect Quay (Ref: PPQ) - sleeps 6

Exclusive up-scale accommodation in a unique situation sleeping 6. Forget about the Ritz and Claridges, Knightsbridge and Kensington - for an exclusive and unusual rental this will be hard to cap! The accommodation must be seen to be believed - grand salons, fine furniture, four poster and canopied beds - and all on a boat! Garaged car parking and access to a 12m x 6m (40ft x 20ft) pool and a gym is included with this rental.
