This fantastic apartment, located right on the river, offers superb sweeping views over the River Thames. The owner is an illustrator who has added a wonderful creative touch to the property and given it a healthy dose of character - guests can expect a stylish space with easy access to central London.

There are many useful local shops on Fulham Palace Road, and Hammersmith tube station (Piccadilly and District lines) is about a 10 minute walk – mostly along the river. In Hammersmith's King Street there are high-street shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. There's even a charming Victorian theatre – The Lyric, opened in 1895 as an intimate opera house and now one of London's premier avant-garde theatres.

The main living and dining area (23ft6 x 22ft, 7.1m x 6.7m) is light, spacious and contemporary in style with wooden floors, white walls, graphic print rugs and wall-to-wall windows offering breathtaking panoramic views of the River Thames. There is a comfortable two-seater sofa and handsome wooden coffee table, with a bench and two chairs. The coffee table comes with its own set of 'feet' to transform it into a dining table!

As well as the wireless internet, sound system and CD player, there is also a flat-screen TV in the living area which has Freeview digital channels for your entertainment. This modern space has a quirky bird theme with various crafted birds perched around the room, which have been collected from around the world – another unusul touch is the bookshelves made from ladders! There is a dining area located next to the large windows (again, overlooking the river) with a dining table and six chairs.

The kitchen and utility room (15ft7 x 12ft5, 4.8m x 3.8m) is also modern in style with white walls and quirky round windows – the room features a large oven with gas hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer.

The master bedroom is a good-size space (17ft4 x 11ft1, 5.3m x 3.4m) with wooden flooring and white walls – this modern-style room has its own balcony with French door giving directly out onto the river, as well as a king-size bed (6ft6 x 5ft), several chairs, a graphic print rug, fitted wardrobes and bedside tables with lamps.

There is also a tiled en-suite bathroom with large bath with over-shower, bidet, basin and loo.

The second bedroom (13ft7 x 10ft8, 4.2m x 3.3m) boasts a mixture of textures and textiles and features a range of illustrations on the walls. Here you will find a king-size bed (6ft6 x 5ft), two chairs and a bedside table with lamps – there is also a fitted wardrobe where you can keep your belongings.

The third bedroom is modest in size (9ft8 x 9ft5, 3m x 2.9m), but spacious enough for two people. This modern room has a fold-out double bed (6ft6 x 4ft), brightly coloured rug, art on the walls and a fitted wardrobe.

The property is right on the river and so casual river-side strolls are definitely a must! Five minutes from the property will take you to the Riverside Studios where you can experience cutting edge arts - with a theatre, cinema, restaurant and gallery onsite. Those who like gourmet food can eat at the famous River Cafe, renowned for its excellent Italian cuisine and virtually next door to the flat. Towards Hammersmith and Putney you will find a plethora of restaurants and shops. Football fans may like to watch a game at Craven Cottage, Fulham Football Club's home ground, which is a 10 minute walk away.
